Canteen. The junior canteen is the backbone of the club fundraising, which directly supports many facets of essential club operations on game day.
Canteen / BBQ Coordinator. Our canteen / BBQ is managed by Ella Morris who looks after the behind the scene coordination, ordering and stocking supplies, equipment, finance, game day canteen management, on the job training for volunteers.
Function. The canteen / BBQ is the back bone of the club, delivering great food to spectators and key fundraising revenue each season, covering many of our operating costs, namely umpire fees.
Member Expectations. To operate the canteen / BBQ, the club requests the support of all members. Each meber family are requested to fill 1-2 canteen shifts over season spreading the load across all teams. Shifts are scheduled for 1 to 1.5hr before games with 15min gap. This ensures that eveyone can watch their kids play.
Roster. A roster will published by club / managers at the start of the season. Reminders will be sent out the week of the upcoming home roun d via Team App.
Canteen Shift Changes. If you are unable to attend allocated canteen shift, the club requests members assist by arranging a swap with another member and communicate changes to your team manager.
EFTPOS. The canteen has EFTPOS facilities through our club ipad and Square account. No more “I’ve only got $10 on me!” Now you get buy them everything they demand! Yay us!!! We have been running EFTPOS have seen a big increase in sales which will help the club fund essential requirements. Also helps with our COVID compliance by being cashless contactless.

One clever way to support the club is via a Rebel Season Pass or Active card/s that is linked to the club. Every time a member spends money with Rebel, the Tigers receive 5%. This provide the club an in store credit voucher to assist with the purchase of new equipment for players.

Bunning BBQs
NDTJAFC are planning on booking regular Bunnings BBQs at Bellambi as a major source of fundraising for the club. These events have an expected turn over $500 -$1000 profit per BBQ. We will be calling for volunteers to help run the BBQ from 7AM to 5PM.
