Guernsey Design Story
Celebration of Tigers. We have chosen to return to traditional Tigers design to represent history of club and connection to AFL premier league. Previously the Tigers wore a black with yellow slash design, now we have a combination of our recent jersey with the old now in bright bold yellow with dominant strong black slash. Our Tigers and Tigresses will stand out in a sea of yellow and black unique among our competitors. As a club we will display one united brand. One club, one uniform, one style, all ages AUSKICK to U17 to seniors, all divisions. Juniors and seniors will be connected
Acknowledgement of Country. We have chosen to include an acknowledgment of the country where we meet to play and our indigenous community and players. This powerful yet subtle message will be worn with respect and pride every week as well as during the AFL Sir Douglass Nichols Indigenous Rounds. The design is based upon the Seniors indigenous round guernsey, developed by the original creator Brad Hanlon and indigenous Artists Rheanna Lotter NGANDABAA. The significance of indigenous elements are founded locally with three important meeting places.

- The white u’s around the meeting places representing all us as we come together, as a supportive inclusive community with a shared passion for our unique Australian code
- Collectively we play AFL with friends and mates, it is teamwork that makes us stronger together, working as one
- The circles provide a continuous story and unbroken connection
- The pathways between meeting places represent our travel to other clubs and places in our coastal region
- The boomerangs represent our player's tenacious Tiger fighting and competitive spirit
